01A question lands.
A licensing organisation asks about your music.

Forward it to us.
We explain our catalogue directly to the society.

Your music. On record.
Your Sonosfera Music Use Certificate: proof of Sonosfera catalogue playback under your active plan.
Scope and support
We contact the society and set out our position on the Sonosfera catalogue. Fees they assess on your business stay yours. Other music needs its own licensing.

Business-use answer
Can a café play Spotify or YouTube?
Use YouTube or Spotify as inspiration when briefing your vibe, not as the customer-facing music system. Spotify's terms describe access as personal and non-commercial, and YouTube's terms describe listening as personal and non-commercial while restricting public screening or music streaming. Sonosfera is built for eligible Sonosfera-catalogue playback in supported business spaces.

UAE music licensing
Do UAE businesses need a music licence for background music?
No separate music licence needed for Sonosfera music in the United Arab Emirates under an active plan. Your subscription is your licence for our music, which is owned by Sonosfera and is not registered with any collecting society. Other music you play needs its own licence.
Questions, answered.
For music in the Sonosfera catalogue: no. With an active plan, your Sonosfera subscription is your licence for our music. Sonosfera music is owned by Sonosfera and is not registered with any collecting society. Other music you play (radio, TV, Spotify, live music) still needs its own music licence.
Playback pauses until you choose a plan; nothing is deleted. Your account, zones, business profile and music preferences are all kept, so if you upgrade later you pick up exactly where you left off. The trial takes no card, so you'll never be charged automatically.
Any time, in a couple of clicks: Settings → Billing → Cancel membership. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for — no calls, no forms. Paid-upfront multi-year plans run to the end of their agreed term; the pricing page sets out their terms.
On this page, Sonosfera means the Sonosfera business background music service at sonosfera.app: catalogue-scoped playback, country-aware pricing, player/display tools, and certificate-ready records for eligible Sonosfera tracks. It is not the unrelated Italian Sonosfera cultural or museum project.
Sonosfera gives cafes a business-ready soundtrack that helps the room feel intentional all day. It fits best when the background layer has a clear job: Light movement, warmth, and enough rhythm to create buzz without overpowering conversation. Keep Sonosfera catalogue playback separate from radio, DJs, live music, uploads, and third-party playlists.
Yes. The wrong pacing can make a room feel flat or frantic. Good background music helps the room hold together while people stay comfortable.
That is exactly the point. It is built for public-facing businesses, not personal listening.

Any internet-connected device works: computer, tablet, smart TV, or dedicated media player. Just connect to your existing sound system.
Absolutely. Business plans support multi-location management from a single dashboard, perfect for chains and franchises.
You won't find chart hits or specific artists. That's a licensing limitation, not a choice. But you can request the types of music, moods, and genres you want, and your input directly shapes what gets added. Sonosfera is for businesses who want curated catalogue playback that runs itself.
The track that's already playing keeps going from its buffer, and playback resumes automatically once your connection comes back. After a longer outage you may need to tap play once. Music isn't stored offline, so you'll need a working connection for continuous all-day playback.
Yes. Sign in to your Sonosfera account in any phone browser and the dashboard doubles as a remote: play or pause each zone, skip tracks, switch the vibe, and adjust the volume, all while the music keeps playing on the device connected to your speakers.
Every track is original music owned by Sonosfera, made specifically for commercial spaces. It's designed to create atmosphere, not demand attention, which is exactly what background music should do. Tap play on the sample earlier to judge for yourself.
