Refund Policy
Last updated: February 2026
1. Overview
We want you to be satisfied with Sonosfera. If for any reason you are not happy with your subscription, we offer a fair and transparent refund process in line with UK consumer protection law, the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and the EU Consumer Rights Directive. All payments are processed securely via Stripe, our third-party payment processor.
2. Free Trial
There is no charge during your free trial period. You can cancel at any time before the trial ends and you will not be billed. No payment details are required to start a trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the displayed price.
Cancel your free trial at any time with no obligation and no charge.
3. Monthly Plans
- 14-day cooling-off period from your first payment, in accordance with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the EU Consumer Rights Directive. You are entitled to a full refund if requested within this period.
- Digital content acknowledgement: By using the Service during the cooling-off period, you acknowledge that you have accessed digital content and agree that this may affect your right to a full refund under certain circumstances. However, we honour the full 14-day cooling-off refund regardless of usage.
- No partial month refunds after the 14-day cooling-off period. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
- Cancel anytime to stop future charges. You will continue to have access until the end of your paid period.
4. Annual Plans
- 14-day cooling-off period from your purchase date. Full refund available within this window.
- Pro-rata refund for unused complete months after the cooling-off period may be issued at our discretion.
- Refunds processed within 5–10 business days via Stripe back to your original payment method.
5. Auto-Renewal & Cancellation
All subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. You can cancel your subscription at any time via:
- Your account settings within the Sonosfera dashboard
- Emailing us at hello@sonosfera.app
Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made. We will confirm cancellation by email.
We will notify you of any price changes at least 30 days in advance. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at hello@sonosfera.app with the following details:
- Your account email address
- Subscription plan (monthly or annual)
- Date of purchase or most recent payment
- Reason for refund request (optional, but helps us improve)
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed via Stripe within 5–10 business days. The exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer.
7. Custom Music / Studio Orders
Sonosfera Studio custom music orders follow a staged approval process rather than the standard subscription policy above.
- We start with a 5-track sample. This is the review stage used to confirm the creative direction before the full library is produced.
- Full refund before full production begins. If you decide the sample is not the right fit for your brand, tell us before we start the remainder of the order and we will refund the Studio order in full.
- No refund after full-library production starts. Once you approve the sample and we begin generating or delivering the rest of the custom library, the order becomes non-refundable because the digital content is being created specifically for your business.
- No refund after full-library delivery. Once the approved full set has been delivered, the Studio order is complete and cannot be refunded.
8. Exceptions
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
- Violation of our Terms of Service
- Fraudulent activity or abuse of the refund process
- Account terminated due to misuse or breach of terms
9. Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or applicable EU consumer protection legislation. If you are an EU customer, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
We believe in fair treatment. If you have any concerns, please reach out and we will do our best to help.
