Do I need a OneMusic licence if I use Sonosfera?

For music in the Sonosfera catalogue: no. With an active plan, your Sonosfera subscription is your licence for our music. Sonosfera music is owned by Sonosfera and is not registered with OneMusic or any other collecting society. Other music you play (radio, TV, Spotify, live music) still needs your OneMusic licence.

What happens when my 14-day trial ends?

Playback pauses until you choose a plan; nothing is deleted. Your account, zones, business profile and music preferences are all kept, so if you upgrade later you pick up exactly where you left off. The trial takes no card, so you'll never be charged automatically.

Any time, in a couple of clicks: Settings → Billing → Cancel membership. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for — no calls, no forms. Paid-upfront multi-year plans run to the end of their agreed term; the pricing page sets out their terms.

What equipment do I need?

Any internet-connected device works: computer, tablet, smart TV, or dedicated media player. Just connect to your existing sound system.

Can I use it across multiple locations?

Absolutely. Business plans support multi-location management from a single dashboard, perfect for chains and franchises.

What can't Sonosfera do?

You won't find chart hits or specific artists. That's a licensing limitation, not a choice. But you can request the types of music, moods, and genres you want, and your input directly shapes what gets added. Sonosfera is for businesses who want curated catalogue playback that runs itself.

What happens if my internet drops mid-service?

The track that's already playing keeps going from its buffer, and playback resumes automatically once your connection comes back. After a longer outage you may need to tap play once. Music isn't stored offline, so you'll need a working connection for continuous all-day playback.

Can my staff control the music from their phone?

Yes. Sign in to your Sonosfera account in any phone browser and the dashboard doubles as a remote: play or pause each zone, skip tracks, switch the vibe, and adjust the volume, all while the music keeps playing on the device connected to your speakers.

Is the music good enough for my business?

Every track is original music owned by Sonosfera, made specifically for commercial spaces. It's designed to create atmosphere, not demand attention, which is exactly what background music should do. Tap play on the sample earlier to judge for yourself.

Sonosfera customers, in their own words

On switching provider
“After trying Sonosfera, I couldn't see what we were getting for the extra money with our old provider.”

I thought switching to a cheaper service would mean compromising on something. But the music sounds great, the app is easier to use, and we're paying less than before. After trying Sonosfera, I couldn't see what we were getting for the extra money with our old provider.
On setup
“We got Sonosfera working with our compatible speakers, and I can make changes from my phone.”
Sofia Patel

I didn't want a complicated setup or another system my team would have to learn. We got Sonosfera working with our compatible speakers, and I can make changes from my phone. Between the simple controls and being able to manage everything in one place, it just fits how we run the business.
On the daily routine
“The staff can focus on serving customers instead of playing DJ all day.”
Leo Bennett

We used to change the music manually as the café got busier, and half the time someone would forget. Now we set the morning, afternoon and evening schedules once and let them run. The staff can focus on serving customers instead of playing DJ all day.

On running several venues

“It's a huge relief having that control without being on-site.”
We have several locations, and I was tired of chasing managers about the playlists. Now I can manage the music for each venue from one dashboard, while still giving every location its own feel. It's a huge relief having that control without being on-site.

On licensing

“That peace of mind matters just as much as the music.”
We used to worry about paying for a music service and then getting another licensing bill on top. With Sonosfera, it's clear what their own catalogue covers under our plan, and there's documentation if anyone asks. That peace of mind matters just as much as the music.

Clients love the music — it's completely shifted the vibe of our shop. And I don't have to worry about fines anymore.”
