Personal streaming services
Why Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube will not protect your business.
A paid personal subscription is not the same thing as business playback permission. These official terms are useful when staff ask why the venue cannot just use a familiar app.
Spotify
Spotify is a personal listening service. Business playback needs a separate commercial setup rather than a personal subscription.

Apple Media Services terms restrict standard service and content use to personal, non-commercial use unless a specific exception applies.

Common licensing questions in Greece.
Do I need an EDEM, AUTODIA, or GEA licence if I use Sonosfera?
For music in the Sonosfera catalogue: no. With an active plan, your Sonosfera subscription is your licence for our music. Sonosfera music is owned by Sonosfera and is not registered with EDEM, AUTODIA, or GEA or any other collecting society. Other music you play (radio, TV, Spotify, live music) still needs your EDEM, AUTODIA, or GEA licence.
What should I show a representative?
Keep your certificate, dated invoices and playback source details. They assess actual use; these documents do not cover other music.
Can I add my VAT number to the invoice?
Enter your business and VAT details at checkout, then download the PDF invoice from Billing. Card payment is online; checkout shows any other available methods.
Can I cancel?
Cancel a monthly plan in Billing or stop annual renewal. A multiyear plan shows its term before purchase.
Will it work with my speakers?
Open Sonosfera in a browser on a device connected to your speakers. Continuous playback needs internet.
Does this settle café music hours and outdoor noise rules?
No. Check café notification, music hours and outdoor noise rules with your municipality separately.
What does the Sonosfera certificate show?
It names your business and premises, the period covered and Sonosfera catalogue playback under your active plan. Radio, other streaming services, DJs and live music are not covered and follow your local licensing rules.
