Personal streaming services
Why Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube will not protect your business.
A paid personal subscription is not the same thing as business playback permission. These official terms are useful when staff ask why the venue cannot just use a familiar app.
Spotify
Spotify is a personal listening service. Business playback needs a separate commercial setup rather than a personal subscription.

Common licensing questions in Philippines.
Do I need a FILSCAP or PRM license if I use Sonosfera?
For music in the Sonosfera catalogue: no. With an active plan, your Sonosfera subscription is your license for our music. Sonosfera music is owned by Sonosfera and is not registered with FILSCAP or PRM or any other collecting society. Other music you play (radio, TV, Spotify, live music) still needs your FILSCAP or PRM license.
How do FILSCAP and PRM fees work?
FILSCAP publishes standard rate cards by venue type, including retail stores, wellness venues and events. PRM publishes its own application and rates for recorded music.
What do I show if someone asks about the music?
Show the Sonosfera certificate for your premises and the invoices for the period you played Sonosfera music. The certificate covers the Sonosfera catalogue only; other music sources are assessed separately.
Can I get an invoice for my accounts?
Download invoices and receipts from Billing, and enter your business name and tax details at checkout where the field is offered. If you need a specific local receipt format, check it with your accountant before buying.
How do I pay and cancel?
Payment runs through Stripe in US dollars, and the available payment methods appear before you confirm. Cancelling in Billing stops future charges; access continues to the end of the paid period.
Does Sonosfera work with my speakers?
Open Sonosfera on a phone, tablet or computer and connect the device to your venue sound system. Test the connection before you pay.
What does the Sonosfera certificate show?
It names your business and premises, the period covered and Sonosfera catalogue playback under your active plan. Radio, other streaming services, DJs and live music are not covered and follow your local licensing rules.
