01A question lands.
A licensing organisation asks about your music.
02Forward it to us.
We explain our catalogue directly to the society.

Your music. On record.
Your Sonosfera Music Use Certificate: proof of Sonosfera catalogue playback under your active plan.
Scope and support
We contact the society and set out our position on the Sonosfera catalogue. Fees they assess on your business stay yours. Other music needs its own licensing.

Business-use answer
Can an event organiser play Spotify or YouTube?
Use YouTube or Spotify as inspiration when briefing your vibe, not as the customer-facing music system. Spotify's terms describe access as personal and non-commercial, and YouTube's terms describe listening as personal and non-commercial while restricting public screening or music streaming. Sonosfera is built for eligible Sonosfera-catalogue playback in supported business spaces.

Questions, answered.
That is intentional. Short-term access is for temporary need. Monthly should be the better value for normal trading weeks.
The public certificate page shows the proof model. Actual certificate details depend on the active account, duration, country, and covered Sonosfera playback.
Keep your Sonosfera certificate and dated invoices, and show which source is playing. The inspector assesses actual use; other sources need separate documentation.
Enter company and VAT details at checkout. Download the PDF invoice from billing history. Pay by card; checkout shows any other available methods before confirmation.
Cancel a monthly plan in Billing, or stop annual renewal. A multiyear plan shows its term before purchase.
Open the player in a browser on a device connected to your speakers. Continuous playback needs internet.
Radio is a different source. Keep track of what actually plays in the venue and check its rights separately.
C trade/exhibition events and the separate event rows depend on event format.
More questions (11)
Keep your Sonosfera certificate and proof of your active plan to identify the catalogue playing at your venue. Contact Sonosfera support with questions about Sonosfera music.
Other music you play (radio, TV, Spotify or live music) still needs the relevant UCMR-ADA, CREDIDAM and UPFR licence.
For music in the Sonosfera catalogue: no. With an active plan, your Sonosfera subscription is your licence for our music. Sonosfera music is owned by Sonosfera and is not registered with UCMR-ADA, CREDIDAM, or UPFR or any other collecting society. Other music you play (radio, TV, Spotify, live music) still needs your UCMR-ADA, CREDIDAM, or UPFR licence.
Playback pauses until you choose a plan; nothing is deleted. Your account, zones, business profile and music preferences are all kept, so if you upgrade later you pick up exactly where you left off. The trial takes no card, so you'll never be charged automatically.
Any time, in a couple of clicks: Settings → Billing → Cancel membership. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for — no calls, no forms. Paid-upfront multi-year plans run to the end of their agreed term; the pricing page sets out their terms.
Any internet-connected device works: computer, tablet, smart TV, or dedicated media player. Just connect to your existing sound system.
Absolutely. Business plans support multi-location management from a single dashboard, perfect for chains and franchises.
You won't find chart hits or specific artists. That's a licensing limitation, not a choice. But you can request the types of music, moods, and genres you want, and your input directly shapes what gets added. Sonosfera is for businesses who want curated catalogue playback that runs itself.
The track that's already playing keeps going from its buffer, and playback resumes automatically once your connection comes back. After a longer outage you may need to tap play once. Music isn't stored offline, so you'll need a working connection for continuous all-day playback.
Yes. Sign in to your Sonosfera account in any phone browser and the dashboard doubles as a remote: play or pause each zone, skip tracks, switch the vibe, and adjust the volume, all while the music keeps playing on the device connected to your speakers.
Every track is original music owned by Sonosfera, made specifically for commercial spaces. It's designed to create atmosphere, not demand attention, which is exactly what background music should do. Tap play on the sample earlier to judge for yourself.
